Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Run your Gramble spreadsheets!

Install

npm install -g @gramble/cli

Usage

Gramble has a few subcommands:

  1. generate
  2. parse
  3. sample

For general help, type

gramble help

For help for a specific command, type

gramble help <command>

Generate

Generate all words from your Gramble grammar:

gramble generate [--max=n][--otier=tier] [--output|-o file] <source>

Parse

Parse or analyze forms using your Gramble grammar:

gramble parse --itier=tier [--otier=tier] [--random] [--max=n] <source>
gramble parse --tokenize --itier=tier --otier=tier [--random] <source>

Sample

Sample a few words from your Gramble grammar:

gramble sample [--output|-o file] <source>
