Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Wechat

The WeChat SDK by GanXing is a specialized and user-friendly software development kit focused on integrating WeChat Mini-Program functionalities into Node.js applications. Currently, this SDK primarily offers APIs related to WeChat Mini-Programs, enabling developers to easily leverage features such as user authentication, data storage, and server-side logic integration. Designed for efficiency and security, it simplifies interactions with the WeChat Mini-Program API, allowing for the creation of robust and responsive applications.

Looking ahead, the WeChat SDK by GanXing plans to expand its offerings to include APIs for WeChat Pay, WeChat Official Accounts, and Enterprise WeChat, aiming to provide a comprehensive toolkit for a wider range of WeChat services. Whether you're developing interactive mini-programs, planning to integrate WeChat payment systems, or looking to connect with WeChat's vast user base through official accounts, this SDK is set to evolve with your needs, enhancing user engagement and enriching digital experiences on one of the world's largest social media platforms.

The project, housed in the ganxing/wechat repository, represents an evolving effort to bring the expansive world of WeChat services to Node.js developers.

Getting Started

1.Clone the repository

git clone <https://github.com/Gan-Xing/wechat.git>
cd utils

2.Set up for standalone use

If you plan to use utils outside the Turborepo environment, you'll need to replace the existing package.json with package.jsonc, which includes the necessary development dependencies.

pnpm run setup

This will rename package.jsonc to package.json, ensuring that all development dependencies are available.

3.Install the dependencies

Make sure you have Node.js (v18.0.0 or newer) and npm (v8.0.0 or newer) installed. This project recommends using pnpm for managing dependencies, although npm or yarn would work just fine.

pnpm install

Scripts

Here are some scripts provided to help you manage the project:

  • Testing: Run tests using Jest.
pnpm run test
  • Linting: Check your code for stylistic and programming errors with ESLint.
pnpm run lint
  • Formatting: Format your code with Prettier.
pnpm run format
  • Check Formatting: Check if your code is well formatted.
pnpm run check-format
  • Cleaning: Delete the `dist` directory to clean old build outputs.

  • Documentation: Generate documentation for your code with TypeDoc.
pnpm run docs
  • Building: Build your project with Vite.
pnpm run build
  • Committing Changes: We use Commitizen for formatted commit messages.
pnpm run commit

This command will prompt you for details about the commit which will then be formatted according to conventional commit standards.

Committing Guidelines

We follow the Conventional Commits guidelines for commit messages. When you're ready to commit your changes, run `pnpm run commit` and follow the prompts to generate a formatted commit message.

Documentation

The generated documentation will be placed in the `./docs` directory, which you can browse locally or host it on a web server.
