Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Purpose

The purpose of the project is to create reusable multilevel menu.

Installing via npm

npm install @ezetech/react-multi-level-menu-component --save

Usage

import MenuList from '@ezetech/react-multi-level-menu-component';

Configuration

Basic use of the MultilevelMenu can be described with:

API

listClass

Css class which will be applied to list container in menu

itemClass

Css class which will be applied to item of menu list

triangleClassName

Css class which will be applied to svg triangle within nested menu item

position

Takes an object with to parameteres: top and left. Will be used to position menu on the page.

clickItemCallback

Function which will be called when not a nested item will be clicked. Each click callback receives item name.

listHideDelay

Number of miliseconds which specifies a delay for closing nested menu.

show

Boolean which controls whether a menu should be shown.

items

An array of items with next structure:

    name: 'item-2',

      name: 'sub-item-21',
      text: 'SubItem 21'
    }
  }
];

Where text will be used for visual representation of item and name will be passed to each clickCallback function.

Any item may have it's own items parameter, they will be rendered as a nested menu for an item.
