Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

@exaecut/create-adobe-plugin

Easily create Adobe Premire Pro/After Effects plugin in C++ using Adobe SDK. You need to manually install the Adobe SDK. We are not allowed to distribute them, and unfortunately Adobe doesn't distribute them through github.

Install XMake

https://xmake.io/#/getting_started?id=installation

Install bun

Windows

powershell -c "irm bun.sh/install.ps1 | iex"

MacOS & Linux

curl -fsSL https://bun.sh/install | bash

How to use

Strictly use bun to run this package !

bun create @exaecut/adobe-plugin

Manual SDK download

  1. Download Adobe SDKs. A Creative Cloud account is required.

    After Effect : https://developer.adobe.com/after-effects/

    Premiere Pro : https://developer.adobe.com/premiere-pro/

  2. Extract SDK contents to the following folders.

    Windows :

    %appdata%/exaecut/adobe-sdks/aftereffects (for After Effect SDK)
    %appdata%/exaecut/adobe-sdks/premiere (for Premiere Pro SDK)

    Mac OS :

    /Library/Application Support/exaecut/adobe-sdks/aftereffects
    /Library/Application Support/exaecut/adobe-sdks/premiere
  3. You can now build your plugin !
