Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Mineflayer Anti-AFK Plugin

A plugin to add multiple anti-afk features to a bot.

Features

  • Auto message: Automatically send chat messages at a specified interval.
  • Rotate: Rotate the bot's view in a specified direction at a specified interval.
  • Circle walk: Make the bot walk in a circle with a specified radius and number of points.
  • Sneak: Make the bot sneak for a specified amount of time at a specified interval.
  • Jump: Make the bot jump at a specified interval.
  • Hit: Make the bot hit nearby entities at a specified interval.

Usage

import { createBot } from 'mineflayer'
import { antiAfk } from 'mineflayer-anti-afk'

const bot = createBot({
    username: 'i_afk_for_fun'
})
bot.loadPlugin(antiAfk) // also loads mineflayer-pathfinder

Then, you can use the plugin:

// send 'Hello, world!' every 5s
bot.antiAfk.autoMessage(['Hello, world!'], 5000)

// you can also provide your own chat function
function customChatFunction(msg: string) {
    // classified information
}
// and provide multiple messages
bot.antiAfk.autoMessage([
    `"guys this guy is afk ban him he's taking a precious player slot" - NERD EMOJI irl`,
    'HOW MANY TIMES do i have to tell you IM NOT AFK',
    'im just a regular player bro relax'
], 30000, customChatFunction)

// rotate the bot's view 1 degree to the right every 100ms
bot.antiAfk.rotate('right', 1, 100)

// walk in a circle with a radius of 10 blocks and 8 points
bot.antiAfk.circleWalk(10, 8)

// sneak for 500ms every 500ms
bot.antiAfk.sneak(500, 500)

// jump every 1s
bot.antiAfk.jump(1000)

// attack nearby mobs
bot.antiAfk.hit({ attackMobs: true })
// or just swing right arm every 2s
bot.antiAfk.hit({ interval: 2000 })

Then you can toggle them off:

console.log(bot.antiAfk.status) // { autoMessage: true, rotate: true, ... }
bot.antiAfk.off('autoMessage') // Turns off auto message

Installation

npm install @emberglaze/mineflayer-anti-afk
