Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

This Next.js template, created by Edward Hyde, is designed to kickstart your Next.js projects with essential dependencies and a modern foundation for building web applications using TypeScript. It has been updated to use the /src/app directory structure for better organization.

Custom Components

The template includes a set of essential components to get you started. These components are ready to be customized and extended to suit your project needs.

Getting Started

To create a new project using this template, follow these steps:

  1. Open your terminal.

  2. Run the following command and follow the prompts:

    npx @edward-hyde/template-next
  3. You will be asked to enter a name for your project. Press Enter for the default name 'my-next-app'.

  4. Once the project is generated, navigate into the newly created directory:

    cd PROJECT-NAME
  5. Start the development server:

    npm run dev
    # or
    yarn dev
    # or
    pnpm dev
    # or
    bun dev
  6. Open your browser and visit http://localhost:3000 to see your new Next.js project in action.
