Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

@doodley/cda-compile

The official compiler for converting CDA (create-doodley-app) template configs into valid DoodleyScript, the config and language used to configure core Doodley components.

Installation

To install cda-compile simply run:

npm install --global @doodley/cda-compile

OR

cda-compile can be run using NPX. To do this run this command in the root of your template (with a valid CDA config):

npx @doodley/cda-compile@latest

Usage

Simply goto the root of your create-doodley-app template and run:

cda-compile

This will create a new .ds file with the name of your template. This must be published with your template, or the CDA generator will not be able to detect your template. The official CDA template registry also requires this file to be present.

Fun Facts

This compiler is built using pure JS/TS and does not require any packages! The total size of this compiler comes out to around 9.4kb unpackaged! (According to NPM)
