Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Adding mysql to your project has never been so easy

Installation

Install via npm

npm i @digioxdigiox/easy-mysql

Install via yarn

yarn add @digioxdigiox/easy-mysql

Usage

import the db instance

const { db } = require("@digioxdigiox/easy-mysql/mysql-connect");

// Usage example

db.query(
    'SELECT * FROM `users` ',
    function(err, results, fields) {
        if (err) {
            console.error(err)
        }
      console.log(results);
    }
  );

You can now use the database instance as you would do with the package mysql2

To run this project, you will need to create an .env file in your project root

Required variables:

MYSQL_ROOT_PASSWORD

MYSQL_USER

MYSQL_PASSWORD

MYSQL_DATABASE

Optional variables:

You must have docker installed to use the package

Don't forget to create a .env file at the root of your project
