Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

React URL Preview Component

GitHub license

A React component that displays a preview of a URL and acts as a clickable link to redirect users to the provided website.

Installation

Install the component via npm:

npm install @develevate/react-preview-link

OR via yarn

yarn add @develevate/react-preview-link

Usage

Import the component in your React application and use it within your components:

import {PreviewLink} from '@develevate/react-preview-link';

Props

The PreviewLink component accepts the following props:

  • href (string, required): The URL to be previewed and linked.
  • showHoverOverlay (boolean, optional): If true renders an overlay over the preview link component | @default true
  • showHoverAnimation (boolean, optional): If true adds hover animation of popping out over the preview link | @default true
  • height (number, optional): Height of the preview link component | @default 180
  • width (number, optional): Width of the preview link component | @default 320
