Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Cryptosim Visualization Library

This project is a visualization library for the cryptosim package written in ReactJS. It contains utilities for displaying on a map the live location of satellites, their trajectories, the locations of ground stations, The areas coveraged by the stations, and more.

Installation

The library is published at the yarn online package index as @cryptosat/cryptosim-visualization. To include it in your own project run:

yarn install @cryptosat/cryptosim-visualization

Usage

To visualize your configuration uses the following snippet:

import { Map } from '@cryptosat/cryptosim-visualization';

...

<Map universe={universe} gsnetwork={gsnetwork}>

where universe and gsnetwork are Universe and GroundStationNetwork instances of the cryptosim engine respectively. The repository contains a standalone demo app. To check it out first clone this repository and then run:

yarn install
yarn start

This will run the app in development mode. Open http://localhost:3000 to view it in the browser.

To deploy the package to npm.js, first create a production build by running

yarn build
yarn deploy

and then run

 npm init --scope=@cryptosat
 yarn publish
