Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Creditshelf react setup wizard

NPM Creditshelf CLI to setup new react projects in few steps.

Installation

npx @creditshelf/create-react <args>
# or
npm install -g @creditshelf/create-react

How to start a project?

In order to create a new project you will need to run the following command with the desired project name (Pascal Case)

create-react <name of project> [flags]

The following example creates a new react project named MyApp, installs all the node dependencies and inits a git

create-react MyApp --git --install

Flags

  • --git or -g: inits git
  • --install or -i: installs node modules

Alternative

Also you can just write

create-react

and prompts will be made to setup the configuration (example):

? What project name would you like it to be? MyApp
? Should a git be initialized? Yes
? Would you like to already have all the packages installed? (y/N) n

Final step

Once the setup has run you can open your new project folder with VScode or simply run it*:

cd <project name>
npm start

(*) only if the packages are already installed
