Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Installation

npm i @codetanna/nex-cli

Quick Start

  1. Create a new project
  npx cli create <project_name>
  1. CD into project directory

    cd <project_name>
  2. Install packages

    npm i
  3. Start project

    npm start

Commands

Create

  • This command is used to create a new project
npx cli create <project_name>

Add model

  • This command allows you to add a model to your project

    npx cli add:model <project_name>
    

Add controller

  • This command allows you to add a controller to your project

    npx cli add:controller <controller_name>

Add route

  • This command allows you to add a route to your project

    npx cli add:route <route_name>

Add service

  • This command allows you to add a service to your project

    npx cli add:service <service_name>

Add Linting

  • This command allows you to add eslinting as well as prettier to your project

    npx cli add:lint

Add Test

  • This command allows you to add test to your project

    npx cli add:test

Using flags

  • Create project with ejs

    npx cli create <project_name> -e
    npx cli create <project_name> --ejs
  • Create project for javascript backend

    npx cli create <project_name> -js
    npx cli create <project_name> --javascript
  • Create project for typescript backend

    npx cli create <project_name> -t
