Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

React Stories

react-stories is a lightweight, customizable storybook component for React applications. Inspired by popular social media features, it allows developers to integrate story functionality into their web apps seamlessly.

Getting Started

Installation

To add react-stories to your project, run:

npm install @casm101/react-stories

or if your using yarn:

yarn add @casm101/react-stories

Usage

Here's how you can use the react-stories component in your React app:

import { StoryViewer } from '@casm101/react-stories';

const stories = [
  {
    url: 'path/to/image.jpg',

Development

To run this project locally for development:

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/Casm101/react-stories.git
  2. Install the dependencies:

    npm install
  3. Start the example app which uses the story component:

    npm run dev
  4. Open http://localhost:3000 to view it in your browser.
