Package for (yet unpublished for OSS use) webpack helpers. Currently supporting basic parallel webpack running and config handling.

Running (currently)

yarn build and run:

yarn add --dev @brainly/webpack-utils
webpack-parallel --config first.webpack.config.js --config another.webpack.config.js

Why

We want to use different configuration types to build advanced multi-compilation config and run it in parallel.

Alternatives don't work:

webpack-cli

• doesn't support parallelization
• is not build in a way to make parts reusable
• it's config reading is not 100% working

parallel-webpack

• crashes and leaves zombie-processes behind
• supports just basic configs

What can we do

1. Write config reading in reusable way.
2. Write basic parallel and non-parallel runners with limited options (compared to webpack-cli) - just what we need.
3. Future:
   1. Incorporate the config reading into webpack-cli 👷‍♂️
   2. Incorporate the config reading into exisitng parallel solutions
