Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

CSS to JSS

Build and tag publish NPM

Make JSS component (jsx|tsx) file from CSS file in your project.

Run this nodejs cli app in your terminal.

CSS file looks below.

Options:
  -v, --version                      Display version

Commands:
  list [options] <source> [prefix]   Check the list of files to be processing.
  write [options] <source> [prefix]  Make JSS component file from CSS file.
  help                               Display help for css-to-jss

list command

Check the list of files to be processed.

$ css-to-jss list --help
Usage: css-to-jss list [options] <source> [prefix]

Arguments:
  source            [Required] Set to start location where css files search.
  prefix            [Optional] Set react component file name postfix when files search. default: "style"

Options:
  -f, --force       Overwrite file
  -t, --typescript  Use Typescript (tsx)
  -r, --recursive   Explore recursive from current directory.
  --verbose         Display detailed information.
  --debug           Display debug information
  -h, --help        display help for command

Usage: Display list of task information that will create JSS file from CSS file in current directory. And the task will overwrite created TSX files on exists TSX files.

$ css-to-jss list . style --typescript --recursive --force

Usage

import created style.(tsx|jsx) in your component.

May requires styled-jsx or next.js

Please install @types/styled-jsx package if use typescript with next.js or styled-jsx.
