Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Enables awsw projects to encrypt local plaintext to upload sensitive information to a public website. The content is encrypted with a randomly generated IV prepended to the text and using crypto's AES-CBC mode.

! IMPORTANT ! I did a fair share of research around encryption but am not an expert. To my knowledge there are no issues with how this is implemented, but use at your own risk!

How to use

Ensure you have @awsw/core installed and add "encrypt" to the Modules as well as a base64 encoded AES key to EncryptionKey to your aws-website-config.yaml .

For every folder (recursively) where you want the content to be encrypted, add an .awsw-encrypt file to the root of the folder. During the build step, every file in that folder (recursively) will now be repla
