Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

A typescript library for `generating random passwords with various customizable options.

Features

  • Generate passwords with custom length.
  • Customize include or exclude numbers, lowercase, uppercase letters, special characters. Exclude similar characters.

Installation

To use this function in your project, first install package:

npm i @artteiv.wkm/password-generator

Usage

import {PasswordGenerator,PasswordOptions} from '@artteiv.wkm/password-generator';

//Generate a password with default settings
let PasGen = new PasswordGenerator();
console.log(PasGen.generate());

//Generate a password with a specific length
PasGen.SetPasswordOptions(12);
//or

//Generate a password without numbers
// Notice that you always have to set length parameter

  • Numbers: Include number or not (default: true)

  • excludeSimilarCharacters: Exclude similar characters (e.g. 'I','l','0','O');
