Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

homebridge-daichi-comfort-conditioner

Overview

Homebridge plugin, providing integration of the air conditioner from the application 'Daichi Comfort'.

This plugin is not official and was created by a person not associated with 'Daichi'. Performance was tested only on one air conditioner, which was connected to the Daichi Cloud via the Wi-Fi controller DW22-B. If you have feedback or were able to test the performance on your device, you can contact me: [email protected]

Installation

npm i -g @alexeimotkoff/homebridge-daichi-comfort-conditioner

You can configure the plugin via GUI or JSON.

How to configure via GUI

Enter your credentials into the plugin setup form.

In the "Name" field you can specify your platform name or leave it unchanged.

You can add the name of your device from the 'Daichi Comfort' application to the list of devices (it must match what is written in the application, case is not important) or leave this list empty by deleting the automatically added device. If the list of devices is empty, then all available devices will be added.

How to configure via JSON

{
  "platform": "DaichiComfortConditioner",
  "name": "Daichi Comfort",
  "username": "[email protected]",
  "password": "xxxxxxxxxx",
  "devices": []
}

or

{
  "platform": "DaichiComfortConditioner",
  "name": "Daichi Comfort",
  "username": "[email protected]",
  "password": "xxxxxxxxxx",
  "devices": [
    {
        "name": "my device"
    }
  ]
}

if you are adding a specific device.

Properties:

  • platform Required. The name of platform in Homebridge.
  • username Required. Username in 'Daichi Comfort'.
  • password Required. Password in 'Daichi Comfort'.
  • devices Optional. List of device names to add.

The devices has these properties:

  • name Optional. Name of device.

How to use

After setting up the plugin, you should see a new device in your list of devices.

Unfortunately, I could not find support automatic rotation speed mode for air conditioner. Therefore, there is one feature: automatic rotation speed mode is set when the slider is at 0 percent. If you increase the step, the automatic mode will turn off. If you return to 0 percent, the air conditioner will turn off, but the mode will return to automatic.
