Agent Stage CLI
A powerful command-line interface tool for managing AI agents and their components. Agent Stage helps you create, configure, and manage AI-powered applications with support for multiple AI providers and plugin system.

Installation
npm install @agent-stage/cli
Quick Start
- Create a new project:
npx @agent-stage/cli create <Your-Project-Name>
cd <Your-Project-Name>
- Configure AI providers:
npx @agent-stage/cli select-provider
- Start development:
npx @agent-stage/cli dev
AI Provider Configuration
npx @agent-stage/cli select-provider
- Configure AI providers and API keys
Plugin Management
npx @agent-stage/cli plugin list
- List installed pluginsnpx @agent-stage/cli plugin search <keyword>
- Search for available pluginsnpx @agent-stage/cli plugin add <plugin-name>
- Install a pluginnpx @agent-stage/cli plugin update
- Update installed plugins
Repository Management
The repository system allows you to manage plugin sources:
npx @agent-stage/cli repo list
- List configured plugin repositoriesnpx @agent-stage/cli repo add <url>
- Add a new plugin repositorynpx @agent-stage/cli repo remove <url>
- Remove a repository
Note: Only GitHub repositories with a valid plugins directory structure are supported.
GitHub Token Configuration
To avoid GitHub API rate limits when working with plugins and repositories, you should configure a GitHub Personal Access Token in your .env
file.
GITHUB_TOKEN=your_token_here
You can create a token at: https://github.com/settings/tokens
Note: The token needs at least
read:packages
scope for accessing plugin repositories.

Plugins can be created for:

Docker Support
To build your project for production, run:
agent-stage build
Run the container:
docker run -p 3000:3000 agent-stage-app:latest
Command Reference
To see all available commands and their descriptions, use:
npx @agent-stage/cli --help
# or
npx @agent-stage/cli -h
This will display:
- Core Commands (create, select-provider, dev, build)
- Plugin Management Commands (plugin list, search, add, update)
- Repository Management Commands (repo list, add, remove)
- Available Options (-v, --version, -h, --help)
