Description
This application is developed with the Nest framework. In order to run it requires PM2.
Installation
$ npm install -g pm2
$ pm2 install raspius --install
$ pm2 save
Running the app
Once the app is installed with PM2 like above it will run in daemon mode, as you can see if you run pm2 logs raspius
.
It works by sending at regular intervals (no more than a minute) a message to the Afiware server so that it knows your system and therefore internet connection is alive.
Since it's a fresh install, you will need to setup an internet location. Go over to Afiware to create one then set it with this command:
$ pm2 set raspius:internetLocationId <location_id>
Test
$ pm2 logs raspius
This command should give you output whether the heartbeats are being successfully sent to server. If no output appears, just wait a minute. If you see OK in the log text, you're good to go! If not, most likely there is an issue with the internet location you set up.
You may disconnect the device from the internet and after maximum 2 minutes you should receive an email from Afiware that you have some internet connectivity problems.
