Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

if the computer does not respond to an inpa command, then the problem is either the inpa hardware or the inpa software. the inpa hardware is not user-replaceable. therefore, if the inpa is not responding, the only option is to replace the inpa. the inpa software is user-replaceable. this can be done by following the basic steps listed in the following instructions. 1) install the existing inpa software. do not attempt to upgrade to a new version of inpa or ncs expert. if you try to do this, the inpa will not start. the reason is because the inpa software is not compatible with ncs expert 3.0.8. you must install the ediabas software for the cd/dvd-r (for example, i used ediabas: 2.6.2.3). 2) install the existing inpa software. if you try to do this, the inpa will not start. 3) reboot the car. 4) open the inpa software. 5) click on the start button.

properly assembled, an inpa cable must be able to transfer all the necessary information to and from your bmw vehicle. inpa has a 3 pin (pin 1,2,3) connection which is the same as the connection used by bmw, but in inpa its called k+dcan. this means the k means your car's obd system, and dcan is the standard protocol for this.

there are two types of inpa cable. one is the complete inpa cable which includes the necessary software (ncs expert and tool32). the other is the cable that is built to provide the data to the ncs expert software. this cable is called the k+dcan cable. the k+dcan cable is built to provide the necessary data to the ncs expert software but does not include the ncs expert software. it does include the necessary software (ncs expert and tool32). 84d34552a1
