monster jam world finals 3 was held on march 21st, 2002. four championships were won this year, which was the most ever in a single monster jam world finals. jimmy creten won freestyle, alex blackwell won racing, john seasock won racing, and the all-new lazer tag game was a huge hit. this was the first time where adam anderson did not win freestyle, though he would win the event later with the grave digger team. adam also would be the first driver since 1992 to win multiple world finals championships.
