Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

the 16 personality types: profiles, theory, & type development is an insightful, interesting, informative, and easy book, tell us in order to know what we should do and how we should live, we must first know who we are. this compels us to understand ourselves and to clarify our identity.

many intjs strive to create a stable and orderly environment, according to dr. susanne daniels, one of the intj experts at dr. peter adler's institute for advanced study. dr. daniels says the intj is a dreamer and a thoughtful and methodical thinker. he's confident, highly analytical, somewhat objective and tends to see details and details of details. that can be a strength in negotiating business or legal contracts.

intjs tend to be driven by their desires and are often impatient. but nardi says that's not a negative because it's a reflection of their inner drive and drive for perfection. intjs work well under pressure and are very goal-oriented.

while intjs are the rarest type, they are actually the second most represented in the population, followed by intps and infjs. even so, they're only about 2% of the population, so people often don't recognize them as a type, says dr. susanne daniels, a former mbti consultant. she says they're underrepresented in the workplace because they don't automatically fit into a box, are often awkward in social settings and can seem standoffish. but the group is open to learning new things and is drawn to intellectual pursuits. they're great at solving complex problems and are good at developing innovative solutions.

the myers-briggs personality test can help you understand your strengths and weaknesses and what type of work environment you're likely to be most comfortable in, nardi says. and the test can help you learn more about yourself by helping you identify your personality type. for example, he says, if you're an intj, you may enjoy your current job or be suited for a career in sales, but if you're not happy with your job, you may want to explore another career path. 84d34552a1
